At CEDIA Expo 2026, the inaugural Best Booth Awards showcased the creativity and commitment of CEDIA Expo’s exhibitors to the thriving community.
Who are the Winners of CEDIA Expo Best Booth Awards?
Per the organizers, the winners include the following: Origin Acoustics won the Best of Show and Best Grand Booth Awards; DMF Lighting took the honors for Best Large Booth; Leon Speakers won Best Medium Booth; LifeSmart for Best Small Booth; and ilLumenate Lighting won Best New Exhibitor Booth.
In addition to this, Crestron won Best Control System Booth; Lutron won Best Lighting Booth; Paradigm Electronics won Best Audio Booth; and Sony won Best Video Booth.
Beyond the Best Booth Awards, CEDIA Expo attendees also participated in the People’s Choice Awards for Best Sound/Audio Demo Room.
This year, a plethora of dedicated audio and sound rooms showcased the latest audio innovations, allowing attendees to experience each demo and vote for their favorite, says the organizers.
With comments like “I could feel the audio in my chest, and it moved the hairs on my neck,” and “one of the best demos I have ever heard (and felt), period,” Pro Audio Technology/Theory Audio Design took home the honor of receiving the most attendee votes.
“The list of winners at the first CEDIA Expo Best Booth Awards reads like a who’s who of the residential integration market,” explains Jason McGraw, group vice president and show director of CEDIA Expo, powered by Forge. “The fact that these industry leaders invest so much into their impressive displays at CEDIA Expo underscores the value that they place on the residential integration market and CEDIA Expo! Who Were the Judges for the Best Booth Awards at CEDIA Expo?
According to the organizers, CEDIA Expo 2026 Best Booth Award winners were selected by an esteemed panel of industry judges comprised trade publication editors: Zachary Comeau and Nick Boever, CEPro; Dan Ferrisi, Commercial Integrator, Charles Warner, Residential Tech Today; Anthony Savona, Residential Systems; Rob Stott, Connected Design; and Steph Beckett, rAVe [PUBS].
CEDIA Expo featured booths from brands across audio, video, lighting, system control, shading, security and access control, outdoor entertaining, resilience and power, furniture and much more.
Integrators could visit category leaders across all sectors and get hands-on with the latest technologies in residential systems integration — technologies they will deploy at the most ambitious and sophisticated homes in North America in the months to come.
Best Booth Award Winners Reflect on Category Wins
Maria Enrica Vittoria, senior creative director, DMF Lighting, reflects on the company’s win as the Best Large Booth at the show: “Earning the first Best Large Booth Award means a great deal to us. We set out to design something more than a display: a space of lived-in vignettes for our Artafex line where dealers, reps and designers could see the quality and beauty of our lighting up close and just as importantly, talk it through with our sales team.”
Vittoria then adds, “We wanted people to discover and truly understand the product through real conversation, not just look at it from a distance. This recognition belongs to everyone who shaped that experience, from our in-house creative and marketing team to our on-site build partners. We’re grateful and already looking forward to what we’ll create for CEDIA Expo next year.”
Erin Phillips, vice president for Pro Audio Technology/Theory Audio Design, expressed excitement on the win for the People’s Choice Awards for Best Sound/Audio Demo Room. She remarks, “Receiving the Best Sound/Audio Demo 2026 award from CEDIA Expo attendees is an incredible honor. You cannot sell premium audio without demonstrating the difference.”
Philips continues, “Our team works tirelessly to ensure every PRO and Theory demo presentation is as educational as it is entertaining. We thank everyone who voted for us and look forward to delivering many more masterclass demonstrations in 2027.”
New Exhibitors Shine at CEDIA Expo 2026
CEDIA Expo 2026 debuted 65 new exhibitors who brought a fresh range of new products, perspectives and connections to the show, says the organizers.
Among the new exhibitors was ilLumenate Lighting, which took home the Best New Exhibitor award.
Reigine Yray, marketing and brand manager, ilLumenate Lighting, highlights the company’s first time at the show, stating, “I’m happy to share that CEDIA Expo was a fantastic event for us, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year! We expected it to be a great opportunity since it attracts our target audience, but it really proved itself when about 90% of our conversations led to meaningful connections and attendees shared their projects and visions with us.”
Yray then adds, “We truly appreciated their genuine interest in our products, services and mission. We’re excited to keep serving the AV and systems integration community. On top of that, we were honored to receive the Best New Booth Award, which made all our hard work and late nights feel even more rewarding.”
Origin Acoustics Wins Major Categories at CEDIA Expo 2026
Nick Berry, CEO of Origin Acoustics remarks on the big wins, stating, “Winning Best Grand Booth and Best in Show is meaningful because it validates the investment we made in creating something truly experiential, not just a trade show booth. We wanted to reflect where Origin is headed: bold design, meaningful innovation and a better way to engage with our customers.”
Berry proclaims, “We’re proud of the recognition, grateful to CEDIA, and excited to keep raising the bar for what’s possible.”
What are the Details for CEDIA Expo 2027?
CEDIA Expo 2027 will take place on Sept. 7 to 10, 2027 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“CEDIA Expo is a snapshot of the future and the booths reflected that,” McGraw concludes. “The overarching positivity and intentionality of the show was evident in the booth designs of the winners and so many exhibitors across the show floor!”
