The new videoconferencing bar features high image quality thanks to its ultra-wide-angle camera, crystal-clear audio performance and wide microphone range that satisfies the demand for use in multiple spaces, says the company. In addition, the new UC S07 facilitates easy setup and operation. As a result, it removes a common pain point for online meetings.

The UC S07 uses an Ultra HD 4K camera for full HD video up to 30 frames per second. With the camera’s 120-degree field of view and Auto Frame feature with intelligent face detection, the system makes automatic adjustments to the field of view to include all meeting participants. Equally notable, the UC S07 utilizes Speaker Tracking, which is voice triggered to automatically track whoever is currently speaking. Combined with the system’s two zooming presets that provide instant setup; the new UC S07 comes with intelligent functions that result in stunning image quality with auto framing for huddle spaces and conferencing applications alike.

Audio Quality
Audio quality is an equally important consideration for online meetings because, if the microphone fails to accurately capture the conversations, the message is lost. The MAXHUB UC S07 system uses a 6-element microphone with a voice pickup range of up to 26 feet. Thus, it ensures that everyone in the meeting can speak naturally and be heard clearly. To ensure clear audio performance, the UC S07’s microphone setup also has additional features. These include noise reduction, echo cancellation, provisions for minimizing reverberation, plus an integrated algorithm that adjusts volume.
The MAXHUB UC S07 system uses both an 8-watt loudspeaker and a 3-watt low frequency transducer. With this, it can ensure clear audio performance with rich low end. The device also has a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 75dB and a frequency range that extends from 150 Hz to 18kHz. Thus, UC S07 provides completely natural sound quality, says the company. It also allows all meeting participants to clearly hear and understand the conversations.
USB Plug-and-Play functionality

The MAXHUB UC S07 employs USB plug-and-play functionality. The system provides connectivity via its USB-C connector with support for USB 3.0. The result is single-cable BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) functionality with auto detect video, audio and HDMI performance. Similarly, the system supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) via its RJ45 connector. Thus, it simplifies installation while also minimizing cost. With its person in room (PIR) sensor, the UC S07 can automatically enter sleep mode when the sensor detects no activity for 30 minutes.
