BenQ, a visual display solutions provider, is bringing the power of cloud connectivity to the forefront of classroom learning to support remote and hybrid environments with the new, affordable RE Series interactive displays.

Available in 65-inch, 75-inch, 86-inch, and 98-inch models, the RE series incorporates the same intuitive, feature-rich EZWrite cloud whiteboard software and InstaShare wireless screen sharing system as the award-winning RP Series raved about by teachers.

Educators simply tap to teach with all the tools they need right at their fingertips to make learning a positive, engaging experience.

“When we introduced our education interactive displays over nine years ago, we designed a collaboration solution that was based on years of feedback gathered from teachers, students, and school IT and technology staff,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ America Corp.

“The RM and RP Series solved the user, connectivity, and collaboration challenges they experienced with traditional whiteboards — from glitchy touchscreens and limited collaboration and content capabilities to zero asset and software management and maintenance features,” he says.

Regardless of where students are learning from, BenQ’s RE Series interactive displays make instruction immersive, active, and fun. The UHD displays come equipped with BenQ’s EZ Write software, featuring easy-to-use cloud-based tools that allow users to share notes, ideas, and lessons from anywhere.

With students returning to the classroom, teachers can seamlessly increase student participation with the display’s built-in license-free wireless collaboration and presentation system, InstaShare. The wireless screen-mirroring software allows up to four students to share the screen at one time. With more students sharing the screen at a time, it helps them to stay focused and share ideas.

The RE Series displays also enable a seamless, incredibly intuitive and personalized experience for all teachers. The display’s Tap n’ Teach feature enables teachers to start lessons faster with instant access to all the materials and settings they need.

Teachers simply scan their personal QR code from the front of any display to access all their cloud-based teaching content, apps, and screen personalization in seconds. This feature seamlessly integrates with Windows Active Directory, and with BenQ’s central management software, so that IT managers can sync user accounts with their Active Directory infrastructure to enable teacher access to cloud content.

The displays boast the industry’s only certified germ-resistant touchscreen, blue light filters that lower and protect eyes from harmful short-wave light, and flicker-free technology that eliminates screen flicker. These features benefit users by helping to prevent the risk and damage caused by the increasing amount of time spent in front of a screen. With these benefits, staff and parents can feel more at ease as education moves swiftly into the new digital era.

To keep teachers and students informed, the RE Series is equipped with a digital message and alert system using BenQ’s X-Sign Broadcast. It is a wireless broadcast system that can push alerts, messages, and announcements over the cloud during class.

Unlike traditional classroom messaging systems, X-Sign Broadcast ensures immediate message delivery as well as group notifications. Serving as a next-generation information center, the smart signage and broadcast solution lets schools easily and efficiently manage content and broadcast enriching material from any device across the entire school or campus.
