Published: 2018-06-15

Maybe the Nureva Wall and the Dual HDL300 audio conferencing solution garnered most of the headlines, but InfoComm 2018 was a particularly significant show for Nureva as it highlighted five new solutions, says VP of products Rob Abbott.

In a CI video, Abbott runs down five new Nureva solutions on display at InfoComm 2018.

[related] With some units shipping in June and general availability slated for July, InfoComm 2018 provided good timing to show off the Nureva Wall WM408i.

The company says the video wall solution combines a high-definition, ultra-short-throw projector with a projected capacitive multitouch surface to create an expansive interactive working space that supports a wide range of collaborative processes and activities.

Abbott calls it “a robust, expansive digital working wall.”

Nureva Dual HDL300 Audio Conferencing System

Also shipping some units in June with general availability slated for July, Nureva showed InfoComm 2018 attendees its Nureva Dual HDL300 audio conferencing solution, which is designed to support large dynamic spaces up to 30-foot x 50-foot and is the second model in the HDL300 audio conferencing system product line.

Nureva Room Manager Software

The new Nureva Room Manager software, Abbott says, allows integrators to “ensure that your HDL300 is always up to date and also gives you the ability to customize the audio settings and interoperate with other third-party systems.” It’s designed to simplify system setups and adjustments.

Nureva Intelligent Sound Targeting

During InfoComm 2018, Nureva also announced a new functionality of its Microphone Mist software. “It’s called Intelligent Sound Targeting,” Abbott says.

“This is a really novel and patent-pending technology that can target and identify undesirable sound sources like fans or HVAC in your room and [you can] choose not to listen to them so it really improves the room experience for the participant.”

New Functionality for Nureva Span Workspace

Nureva’s Span Workspace, which is essentially a canvas for visual collaboration, has added functionality, Abbott says. “Specifically we now have Follow Me functionality. It lets all remote participants share in the same context as the people in the room during the Span session.”
