DTEN ONboard, Designed For New Zoom Whiteboard

All-in-one conferencing solutions manufacturer DTEN has launched the DTEN ONboard, a new 55-inch touch-enabled display designed for Zoom Whiteboard.

According to the company, the display is specifically designed for Zoom Whiteboarding experiences and allows for both in-room and remote participants to interact equally during hybrid meetings. The device is essentially a whiteboarding solution—sans microphone and camera—to be used in an existing meeting room already optimized for video meetings.

The company says the DTEN ONboard integrates with any Zoom Rooms device, including video bars, and introduces interactive touch with the ability to draw, ideate, annotate and organize meeting content.

The DTEN ONboard features real-time touch to brainstorm, an expandable canvas to elaborate collaborations and sharing via email or Zoom chat. The device also enables Zoom Whiteboard visualization tools such as sticky notes, shapes and connectors and drop-and-drag images.

The display, which is designed for Zoom Rooms of all sizes, features built-in Zoom Rooms software, an ultra HD 4K LED and several networking options, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IPv4 and HTTP.

For inputs and outputs, the device includes two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI in and out, and two 3.5mm audio jacks.

When not being used for whiteboarding, the display can be used as a standalone collaboration appliance, digital signage via Zoom Rooms Kiosk Mode and for reserving hot desks and meeting rooms with Zoom’s Workspace Reservations.

Since the DTEN ONboard is a dedicated Zoom Whiteboard appliance designed to work with other in-room hardware, the display doesn’t include a camera, but it does include integrated speakers.

DTEN’s head of marketing Nia Celestin, in a statement, said the device, when paired with Zoom Whiteboard, becomes the centerpiece of collaborations, especially in rooms with legacy videoconferencing systems.

“The virtual shared whiteboard promotes collaboration equity, providing all meeting attendees the ability to participate, regardless of location,” Celestin said.

The DTEN ONboard is priced at $2,999.99 and can be ordered through channel partners and at DTEN.com.
