TD SYNNEX Maverick has appointed Andy Evans as Senior Commercial Director for its European business.

With over 30 years’ experience within the AV/IT industry, Evans will lead the business strategy for TD SYNNEX Maverick, working with a portfolio of  brands including Logitech, Absen, Crestron, Samsung, Lenovo, Avocor, Epson, Microsoft, Sony and now Zoom.

Evans explains, “After years of working with Maverick as a customer I’m very excited to be joining the European team at this pivotal time for the industry and business. Maverick holds the number one position for smart meeting and smart-signage technology with an unrivalled portfolio within the channel.”

He continues, “My focus will be to work with our partners to maximize the huge opportunities ahead. With ISE around the corner I am really looking forward to seeing the team in action showcasing our strategy for this year at our IS-SKI stand.”

Evans’ career has seen him hold commercial director roles at integration businesses including market leaders Electrosonic and Kinly, and senior positions at Viju and Cisco. In is new he serves as part of Maverick’s senior management team, overseeing the smart spaces strategy, vendor relationships and channel sales across Europe.
