Genetec Lays Out Initiatives, Plans for 2015

Genetec’s press tour concluded at Montreal’s Urban Mobility Management Center (UMMC), where Security Center is being implemented as part of a multiphase project in which the city is upgrading its traffic network management and associated tasks such as congestion level prediction, decision support, adaptive traffic management, highway access control, and traffic light repair/diagnoses.

Currently 230 Bosch cameras are installed and 700 total will be installed and integrated within Genetec VMS over a five-year plan, during which time Montreal will also be host to the 2017 Intelligent Transport System World Congress.
