Questex has announced that Skarpi Hedinsson, chief technology officer at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, will deliver a keynote address at Digital Signage Experience (DSE) 2022. DSE is an event and digital platform for the digital signage industry.
SoFi Stadium is the home field for football teams the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. It recently secured hosting of Super Bowl LVI in 2022, as well as the College Football National Championship game in 2023. It will also host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2028 Olympic Games.
The stadium has a 70,000-square-foot, dual-sided, center-hung videoboard and five levels of fascia display. These technologies elevate the fan experience. The state-of-the-art videoboard not only features the most LEDs used in a sports or entertainment venue but also has 4K end-to-end video production. The stadium paints a picture of sports and live entertainment’s future.
Hedinsson to go Behind the Scenes
In the keynote, Hedinsson will take attendees behind the scenes. They’ll gain perspective on how the stadium is changing the way the industry thinks about live-event content.
David Drain, director of event programs for DSE, proclaimed his excitement about having Hedinsson as a keynote speaker. “Not only is SoFi Stadium the most impressive sports venue in the world but it is [also] part of a bigger mixed-use development at Hollywood Park. Every attendee, no matter which sector they come from, will benefit from his keynote,” Drain said.
DSE aims to showcase innovations in technology, market applications and creative educational content. This year’s event will focus on reaching key end-user markets for digital solutions and experiences. Those markets will include hotels, hospitality, travel, healthcare, entertainment, education and more.
DSE 2022 is scheduled to take place from March 22 to 24, in Las Vegas, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
