Bogen Communications LLC announced new Nyquist peripherals, including the Nyquist Zone Paging Microphone Station, a VoIP double-sided LED message display and flasher, a digital remote volume-control call switch and an indoor/outdoor IP horn with talkback. According to the company, each device integrates directly into the Nyquist ecosystem and can support higher zone counts, distributed control points and reliable operation in demanding settings.
“The new Nyquist peripherals extend system functionality beyond traditional paging endpoints,” says Randall Lee, vice president of marketing and product management at Bogen Communications LLC. “Each device expands system control, visual messaging, user interaction and audio coverage for education, transportation and large commercial environments, addressing real-world needs for scalable control, visible messaging and dependable audio.”
Nyquist Paging Microphone Station
According to the company, the Nyquist Zone Paging Microphone Station, NQ-ZPMS-G2, is for high-zone count paging applications, such as schools, transportation hubs and large facilities. Featuring a ten-inch color touchscreen and 116 programmable one-touch DSS keys, the NQ-ZPMS-G2 provides rapid access to paging zones, announcements, audio distributions, routines, tones and bell schedules.
The NQ-ZPMS-G2 also features a flexible gooseneck microphone and HD audio using a G.722 wideband codec, supporting clear communication in busy paging environments. Built on the Android 9.0 operating system, the NQ-ZPMS-G2 provides stable operation and long-term system compatibility.
Nyquist VoIP Double-Sided LED Message Display and Flasher
The Nyquist VoIP Double-Sided LED Message Display and Flasher, NQ-DSC01, is an indoor wall- or ceiling-mounted device, says Bogen Communications LLC. It is designed for visual and audio communication in educational and commercial facilities.
According to the company, the DSC01 features a dual-sided, multi-color LED display, integrated flasher and dual loudspeakers. It also supports Nyquist-generated text messages in single- or dual-line formats, static or scrolling display modes and customizable colors at the character level. When paired with optional call switch accessories, the device can initiate SIP calls with other Nyquist endpoints or compatible third-party SIP devices.
Nyquist Digital Remote Volume-Control Call Switch
The Nyquist Digital Remote Volume-Control Call Switch, NQ-VCTRL, adds localized audio control to Nyquist systems. Designed for single-gang wall mounting, the NQ-VCTRL allows users to adjust volume, mute audio, place calls or trigger emergency notifications through a multifunction push-button knob.
According to Bogen Communications LLC, the NQ-VCTRL features a single, integrated LED display combining a nine-LED clock-style layout with a full-spectrum status ring to provide clear visual feedback for volume levels, call status and system responses.
Nyquist VoIP Indoor/Outdoor IP Horn with Talkback
The Nyquist VoIP Indoor/Outdoor IP Horn with Talkback, NQ-IPHRN01, is a commercial-grade IP device designed for indoor and outdoor use, featuring HD audio, integrated amplification and talkback capability, says the company.
The NQ-IPHRN01 also connects via Cat5 to a PoE or PoE+ network. Moreover, users can configure and control the device through the Nyquist web interface. An IP66-rated enclosure provides protection against water and dust, supporting reliable performance in harsh environments, the company states.
