AVPro Edge announced it has refreshed its MXnet 1G switches with the introduction of the MXnet P-Series.

Per the company, the P-Series is an evolution of the existing AVPro Edge MXnet 1G switch lineup, purpose-built for large-scale MXnet 1G systems, delivering high-density PoE, scalable stacking and zero licensing costs in a space-efficient 1RU rackmount form factor. As successors to the SW24 and SW48, the new P-Series switches bring the same proven stacking and uplinking capabilities integrators rely on, now with significantly more uplink bandwidth and at a better value.

What is the MXnet P-Series by AVPro Edge?

According to the company, the P-Series switches are ideal for large residential, hospitality and commercial installations, making them the go-to choice for integrators deploying high-fidelity AV-over-IP MXnet 1G systems. AVPro Edge MXnet P-Series switches are available in 24-port and 48-port configurations and come with a 10-year warranty.

“The pre-configured MXnet P-Series switches eliminate the need for complex manual configuration, saving integrators time while ensuring predictable multicast performance and smooth video switching from day one of deployment in any MXnet system,” explains Matt Murray, CEO at AVPro Global. “The new SW48P jumps from four 10G uplink ports to six 25G SFP28 ports, giving integrators managing larger deployments a major step up in bandwidth headroom while remaining plug-and-play out of the box.”

AVPro Edge E-Series Network Switches

Furthermore, the MXnet E-Series switches bring cost-effective, pre-configured AV-over-IP switching purpose-built for MXnet USP systems, says the company. Available in 24-port and 48-port configurations, these switches come ready to deploy out of the box with no complex network setup required.

Additionally, the E-Series switches can be used as the backbone for Dante or AESA67 networked audio systems while also providing support for single-switch MXnet 1G systems. Whether it’s hospitality, education, healthcare or government, the company states that E-Series switches deliver the performance and scalability integrators need at a price point that makes professional AV networking accessible for more MXnet USP projects.
