Matrox Graphics recently announced that the Matrox Mura IPX line of capture, encode, decode, and display cards is now enhanced to allow for “even greater interoperability,” according to a company press release, with added support for third-party graphics cards, DirectShow and the Linux operating system.
“Matrox technology is the perfect backbone for multi-monitor video wall and multiviewer configurations,” says Matrox product manager Fadhl Al-Bayaty in the announcement. “Capture, encode/decode, and display demands evolve over time; by expanding our operating system support and adding the capability to work with third-party graphics processors such as AMD, Nvidia and Intel, we’re providing solution providers with massive opportunities to build world leading, IP-enabled systems.”
