New InFocus Projectors Offer Small Footprint, Bright Images

The new IN5310a series of projectors from InFocus is designed to provide the professional video market with a choice of high brightness, value-minded video solutions.

InFocus has added to its already large and diverse line of projector products.

The Skinny: The company’s newly announced IN5310a series is designed to provide the professional video market with a choice of high brightness, value-minded video solutions.

The Specs: The line includes the 6,000-lumen IN5312a and the 1080p IN5316HDa. The company says the products incorporate a range of features within their small form factors to complement a variety of commercial environments.

“Projecting high quality images in big spaces isn’t easy for many organizations, especially when they are on a budget, but [the customers] want high-quality HD and 3D picture. That’s exactly where our new IN5310a projectors fit,” says Dave Duncan, project manager, InFocus.

“Whether you want to show a piece of digital artwork to 100 students from the back of a lecture hall or an HD video to a church congregation from close up, these projectors deliver the beautiful images people want with the flexibility, connectivity and affordability they need,” he adds.

InFocus states that each projector includes a standard lens and are supported with interchangeable short- and long-throw lenses. Built to run 24-hours a day for seven days a week, the IN5310a projectors also incorporate HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D, VGA and five BNC inputs, as well as RS-232 and RJ-45 control port options.

The XGA resolution (1,024×768) IN5312a is capable of producing as much as 6,000 lumens and the HD capable 1,920×1080 IN5316HDa can deliver up to 5,000 lumens. Other features built into the projectors include 3D Sync Ports for use with 3D IR emitters.

Solutions: The projectors can be deployed in a range of commercial environments that include classrooms and houses of worship.
