Clockaudio, a professional microphone and audio manufacturer based in the UK with offices in several nations, celebrates 25 years this year.
Established in 1994 by a team of audio specialists with many years of experience in the design and manufacture of innovative pro-audio products, the company has maintained a unique ability to customize products for integration on both a technical and aesthetic level.
Changes in Industry Clockaudio Responds To
In speaking about the change in the industry over the last two-and-a-half decades, Robert Moreau, Clockaudio’s North American Managing Director, cites a few catalysts.
“The evolution of the conference room from the traditional boardroom to video conference rooms and huddle spaces has changed the office footprint, its functionality, and how people collaborate and work.
“In addition, with changing technology, our devices have become more streamlined while still protecting the product’s integrity and performance.”
Moreau mentions other factors that have changed the industry, such as the convergence of AV with IT, the integration of Dante protocols and a changing of the guard in the workplace.
Clockaudio’s longevity is not about any one thing, he says.
“I think it has been based on innovation, being good listeners, and being able to adapt to an ever-changing market and world. It can also be attributed to our ability to create custom products, a desire to stay true to ourselves and surrounding ourselves with great people. These are a few of the elements that have contributed to our success and will continue to pave the way for us going forward.”
“The company’s focus at the show will include specific technologies for huddle spaces as well as some very exciting product introductions that will revolutionize microphone design,” says a blog on the company’s website.
