Renkus-Heinz says that its latest loudspeakers are its “highest definition arrays ever,” and like the rest of the ICONYX product line, the new items incorporate its digital beam-steering technology that aims the sound towards the audience and away from walls and ceilings.

Through its beam-steering technology, Renkus-Heinz says the ICONYX-series systems help integrators to deal with problematic acoustical environments.

Externally, the products employ a slim design and small footprint that enables professional integrators to install them in a variety of locations, while remaining vertical and inconspicuous.

Renkus-Heinz ICONYX Steerable Arrays: Further Benefits to Integrators

Highlighting the company’s new ICONYX steerable array loudspeakers, Renkus-Heinz says the IC8-HD combines beam-steering capabilities that includes 32 discrete amplifier/DSP channels with the speaker’s 24-high frequency drivers and eight 4-inch low/midrange drivers.

The IC8-HD is compatible with Renkus-Heinz’s ICONYX Gen5 modules, and the audio manufacturer says the combination of the ICONYX products with the Gen5 modules will enhance the speakers’ response and cost effectively improve their sound. Renkus-Heinz ICONYX, steerable arrays

Renkus-Heinz notes that its IC LiveX features individually controllable and amplified dual 8-inch woofers, and six 1-inch, high-frequency compression drivers.

The IC LiveX’s compact cabinet mounts on a tripod stand; integrators can place it on a pole mounted above a subwoofer, or they can arrange the speaker in continuous steerable arrays. Presets support applications such as point source usages with software-adjustable vertical coverage angles.

Rounding out Renkus-Heinz’s new ICONYX series products is the IC LiveXL.

The IC Live XL employs four 8-inch woofers, and Renkus-Heinz comments the IC Live X and IC Live XL can be combined to maximize system scalability.

Renkus-Heinz adds the IC LiveXL provides integrators with more installation flexibility through its greater low-mid directivity, and sound pressure level (SPLs) capabilities.
