UFC Headquarters Hits Fight Fans with NanoLumens Display

National Technology Associates installed a 20-foot-wide narrow pixel pitch ENGAGE Series display from NanoLumens to welcome visitors into UFC’s lobby.

UFC fights are often blood-stained displays which pit contestants against one another in aggressive feats of majestic power. But the mixed martial arts organization wanted to present itself in a clean, professional way when it opened its global corporate campus in Las Vegas, Nevada – so they hired National Technology Associates to help.

According to the integrator, UFC wanted to amplify its global brand image as a world-class organization. To accomplish that, National Technology Associates COO H. Waldman says they had to focus on the building’s most visitor-frequented space: the lobby.

Waldman says his firm had worked with NanoLumens’ displays on other Las Vegas projects and knew their ENGAGE Series LED display would deliver a reliable, lightweight solution.

“The new lobby is the first opportunity that UFC has to present its brand image to each visitor, so it was crucial that this display entice visitors to explore the rest of this incredible facility,” Waldman says.

The integrator went with a 2.5mm pixel-pitch NanoLumens Narrow Pixel Pitch ENGAGE Series display which measures 12.5 feet by 20 feet. The massive wall plays live feeds, split into multiple screens, and stream high-quality sound via built-in audio. The display also features a 2688 x 1536 pixel resolution. National Technology Associates also went with the NanoLumens display because its light weight required no enhancements to the lobby’s existing architecture, saving UFC some money.

Impact on UFC

The ENGAGE Series of displays from NanoLumens carries a 6-year warranty and features front-serviceability. The integrator says this should preserve UFC’s return on investment for years to come.
