NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc., has announced that it will back its new P Series Displays with a 5-year warranty.
The LCD display and commercial projector manufacturer says the new 5-year warranty supports four models and emphasizes the warranty is more substantial than the industry standard three-year warranty.

The P Series Displays high contrast, industrial-strength design and Enhanced Digital Signage Technology Suite (DSTS), which boasts more than 30 advanced features, make these displays ideal for 24/7 operation in even the harshest environments. NEC 5-Year Warranty Models on the P Series Displays
NEC points out that some digital signage display manufacturers offer options to increase the warranty coverage on their products from three years to five years. NEC states the problem for integrators’ clients is these extended warranty options can cost several hundred dollars, which decreases the value proposition of these products.
