It’s been a big few weeks for Cenero. First, we included the Malvern, Penn.-based AV integrator among our Fast-Growing Firms for the second consecutive year. Now, the company has been inducted into the Inc. 5000 Hall of Fame as a five-time member of the list that highlights the fastest-growing firms.
We’ll let you decide which honor is more prestigious, but suffice it to say, Cenero was joined by 4,999 others on the Inc. 5000 and only 17 other firms on the CI Fast-Growing Firms, so our club is at least a bit more exclusive, if nothing else.
Of course, Cenero wasn’t the only systems integrator on this year’s Inc. 5000.
Also returning to the list from 2017 were Agema Technology, an IT integration firm at #1205, and 2016 CI Integrator of the Year Diversified at #2314, marking the third consecutive year the Kenilworth, N.J., made the cut.
Starlite Productions joined the party at #4031, celebrating 87 percent growth to mark its return to the Inc. 5000.

We don’t know much about this IT integration firm yet, but we definitely plan to find out more about how they’re achieving this impressive level of success. Maybe you should, too.
Diversified will have to clear some room on its trophy case—or maybe just build another one, as the company has grown by 189 percent in past 3 years to more than $600 million in annual revenue.
We’ve followed them closely since they acquired Technical Innovation in early 2016 and clearly they haven’t escaped the watchful eye of Inc. either with their precipitous climb up their list, now into the top half.
Cenero (#3899 on the 2018 Inc. 5000), grew by 91 percent in past three years to earn its spot on this year’s list, while Starlite, which installs AV equipment, theatrical lighting and special effects, has a 35-year history of success in the industry.
