For the first time since 2019, you folks are down in Orlando at InfoComm, networking with one another and checking out a ton of innovative new products that this industry’s vendors have been working on for the better part of two years.
For obvious reasons, the show is scaled back this year, with some notable vendors deciding to pull out and announce products without the InfoComm platform, but all we’re hearing on social media is about how much people value the chance to connect and network again.
Sure, we’ve had tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms on which to connect, but it just hasn’t been the same. The ability to grab some drinks and talk shop with a prospective vendor or customer is extremely valuable, and we’re seeing that from you folks all over Twitter.
Here are some of the best Tweets we’ve seen from folks at the show:
If this doesn’t give you chills…

Sure, the show is smaller, but that means there’s room for more quality conversation after a long two years.
Getting ready to start Day 2 of #infocomm21! My biggest takeaway so far: Quality. Every vendor and attendee that I have spoken to believe that the conversations and contacts made have been valuable. InfoComm 2021 is not about quantity. It’s about quality. @AVIXA @InfoComm

In addition to vendors, the educational sessions have highlighted some crucially important topics for AV professionals, including recruiting and retaining employees.
We had a great session yesterday with about 30 engaged participants sharing ideas about Recruiting, Retention, and Mentorship!
Looking forward to presenting this important topic again.
Thank you attendees and @AVIXA for support!#InfoComm21 #AVTweeps https://t.co/cKYs7zRdzi
