What’s the Talk of InfoComm 2016?

Published: 2016-06-10

There’s so much to see at InfoComm 2016.

Manufacturers are moving into different markets and solutions from the spaces they usually play in. It seems like everyone is doing collaboration, even if it wasn’t even on their radar just a couple years ago. For example, Ricoh used to be mainly a projector company, but now they want to bring collaboration to its enormous customer base.

There are also a few pretty provocative product releases on the show floor this year. Companies like Kramer and Crestron are creating control solutions that are designed to be easily configured without a programmer.

In the video below, CI editors Tom LeBlanc, Craig MacCormack, Rachel Quetti and Bob Archer debate whether this claim is truly possible and consider other trends and themes at this year’s InfoComm show.
