ZeeVee is poised to show off its latest video and signal distributions at Integrated Systems Europe 2016.
Its new ZyPer4k CATx expands upon the ZyPer4K platform, which switches and distributes uncompressed Ultra-HD video, audio and RS232/IR control signals, which ZeeVee says leverages off-the-shelf 10Gb Ethernet switching products, with support for CATx infrastructures.
“The ZyPer4k CATx delivers all the functionality of the ZyPer4K for clients who haven’t made the upgrade to fiber cabling,” says Danny Barr, VP, new product business development for ZeeVee.
ZeeVee will also show off its ZyPerMX. Using H.264 (MPEG4) encoding technology, the ZyPerMX HD IP video encoder, provides a bridge between the current high definition iSeries and the UHD ZyPer4k products. It’s designed as an affordable IP video encoding solution for delivering live TV and archived content over Ethernet networks and as a solution for newer buildings not wired with coax cabling.
“The new ZyPerMX truly bridges the divide between today’s HDBridge/COAX products and the new generation of high capacity ZyPer4K/network based products,” Barr says.
