Crestron will welcome guests to its booth at the Zoomtopia 2019 conference today and tomorrow in San Jose, Calif., for the worldwide debut of Crestron Flex for Zoom Rooms, the company’s new line of intelligent unified communications solutions.
Crestron Flex “delivers native Zoom Rooms software functionality and a simplified, consistent user experience, including one-touch join, in all the places people work, from desks to boardrooms,” according to the Crestron announcement, which notes Crestron Flex is now shipping.
“With Crestron Flex for Zoom Rooms, people no longer have to struggle with getting workplace technology to work. As a result, productivity increases, while help desk requirements decrease,” the company announcement says.
“The Crestron and Zoom collaboration continues to deliver new and exciting products that revolutionize the UC and collaboration experience for the enterprise,” said Joseph Sarrasin, director of unified communications strategy at Crestron, in the company announcement.
“People want to work and collaborate from anywhere without worrying about the quality of their conferencing solutions. Our robust partnership enables users to continue to enjoy the benefits of the native Zoom Rooms experience while providing a simple turnkey solution for integrators and end users alike,” he said.
“Crestron Flex for Zoom Rooms…works for a wide variety of meeting spaces right out of the box, not to mention its strong enterprise device management capabilities,” said Eric Yu, hardware partnership manager of Zoom, in the announcement.

In addition to native support for Zoom Rooms, Crestron has partnered with other manufacturers to create new voice and video experiences that are embedded in the different Crestron Flex form factors: front-of-room wall-mount smart soundbar; tabletop meeting and collaboration system; desktop phone; and customizable integrator kit for large spaces.
Crestron Flex solutions benefit from zero-touch deployment via the Crestron XiO Cloud IoT platform, which is included for one year at no additional cost.
