Nureva Inc., provider of advanced audioconferencing solutions, announced that the HDL410, part of its pro series of audioconferencing systems, has completed the rigorous certification process for Microsoft Teams. Meeting the high standards of one of the world’s most popular collaboration platforms, the HDL410 becomes the first microphone and speaker bar solution certified for extra-large Microsoft Teams Rooms.
Per a statement, the HDL410 joins the HDL310 system, certified earlier for large Teams Rooms in October 2023. Together, they make Nureva’s pro series of audioconferencing systems fully certified for larger spaces.
Enhancing The Teams Rooms Experience
According to Nureva, this unique achievement is possible due to its patented Microphone Mist technology. Here, the technology helps fills a room with thousands of virtual microphones to deliver the full-room audio pickup and clarity required for an inclusive meeting experience regardless of participants’ locations or orientation. As a USB device, users can incorporate the HDL410 system into the design of virtually any extra-large Teams-enabled space. This includes boardrooms, training spaces and higher-education classrooms.
The system uses two wall-mounted microphone and speaker bars to create a unified coverage map that covers spaces up to 35 feet by 55 feet. Thus, it provides customers with an easy and cost-effective way to outfit their larger rooms, says Nureva. It can be installed in under an hour and autocalibrates to the acoustic properties of the room at first start-up and continuously thereafter. Per the company, monitoring and management of the system is quick and easy using Nureva Console, a secure, cloud-based platform.
According to a statement, Teams has quickly emerged as one of the world’s most popular UC&C platforms, with 320 million active users. As the platform grows, so does the need for high-performing Teams Room solutions that can be deployed cost-effectively at scale to enable remote collaboration.
For larger spaces, many organizations struggle to find audio solutions that effectively meet this need, says Nureva. Plug-and-play audio systems designed for small spaces are underpowered for larger spaces; while multicomponent pro AV systems can be expensive and complex to set up and manage. Nureva states that its pro series audio systems address these challenges. Earlier this year, Nureva also received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, a known standard for information security management.
