AVer Information’s VB130 and CAM130 Certified For Zoom

Published: 2021-06-23

AVer Information’s s VB 130 Video Bar and Cam130 4K Camera are now certified for Zoom, meaning the devices will work seamlessly with the popular videoconferencing platform.

Zoom’s certification program puts devices – including Aver’s two camera products – through lab tests to verify their quality and ensure their intuitive features can be integrated with the Zoom platform. The VB130 and CAM130 devices met those high quality standards and passed the tests, according to AVer.

Now, users of those products should expect “an effortlessly synchronized performance” when using Zoom, according to AVer Information’s press release.

“Zoom consistently delivers high-quality video communication technology that is easy to deploy and manage. We are excited for the end-user experience the AVer VB130 4K Video Bar and CAM130 4K Camera will deliver,” said Chris DeNovellis, manager of hardware partnerships at Zoom, in a statement.

Both devices are USB-based, so the Zoom certification makes them perfect for hybrid working, said Carl Harvell, director of product marketing for AVer Information, in a statement.

“A video conferencing renaissance is happening right now at AVer Information, particularly with work from home products. Adding Zoom Rooms Camera Certification to our USB products with built-in lighting is the ideal solution to brighten workspaces and bring professional lighting to every home office or conference space,” Harvell said.

According to AVer, the USB plug-and-play VB130 is a compact all-in-one 4K conferencing camera with built-in intelligent lighting, while the CAM130 features high-quality sensors, multi-lens glass, built-in unidirectional microphone, 4X digital zoom, and up to 120-degree field of view.
