Email Apps: Outlook, Gmail and iOS Mail

Although simple and quite popular among all smartphone users, email is a particularly important app for C-level executives.

“Constant communication with email to respond to customers’ needs when not in an office is critical,” said one respondent.

“Gmail on my phone gives me the ability to stay in touch anywhere,” said another.

A few respondents says they specifically prefer the Outlook email app over Gmail or iOS Mail.

“The Outlook app is so much better than iOS Mail. It has all of Outlook with the same look and feel,” says Dave Silberstein of Crestron Electronics. Jeff Bethke, Level 3 AV agrees. “Outlook [is a] better experience than iOS mail.”
