ATEN Opens “The Sol” Demo Center for Pro AV Training, Events

ATEN is announcing the grand opening for a new state-of-the-art demo room at its U.S. headquarters in Irvine, Calif., designed to showcase the company’s command/control, data center, digital signage and classroom/meeting room solutions. Nicknamed “The Sol,” the demo center will be a hub for future trainings, meetings and events.

Integrators are welcome to attend ATEN’s grand opening on Oct. 17 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., where they can network with ATEN executives, product managers and channel account managers, as well as view product demos and participate in prize giveaways. Refreshments will be provided.

“The Sol will be used to show customers, prospects, resellers, integrators or anyone with interest in pro AV or KVM solutions how video walls are built, control rooms are managed; meeting rooms are being enhanced and more,” explains Holly Garcia, Vice President, ATEN North America. “It will also provide an ideal laboratory for media and analysts to see ATEN and partner technologies at work in a number of scenarios.”

“The Sol” Demo Room Main Features

The room will be divided into several areas to highlight the following applications and products:

  • Control Room – ATEN’s KVM over IP Matrix System KE series product line simulated in a government control room.
  • Meeting Room / Classroom – ATEN will show how its Pro AV VK2100 control system works to bring together presentation, audio, video and lighting, while providing integrated control and system automation.  ATEN will also be showcasing their VM3200 modular video matrix and HDBaseT solutions for Meeting Room / Classroom environments which is designed to offer advanced access and real-time control of multiple local and remote A/V input devices (connecting up to 32 video sources to any of 32 displays from a single chassis).
  • Digital Signage – with a focus on Hospitality/Sports Bars – visitors will be able to see how video wall content is controlled in real-time via ATEN’s VE8900R/VE8900T over IP Extenders.  The Video over IP Receiver/Transmitter products are designed to meet the demands of large scale, multi-display, 1080p/4K signal transmission, and easy to set up and operate in environments like trade shows, airports, school campuses, conference centers and shopping centers.
