AVL president Marc Pierce says his company’s “fantastic team of engineers and installers” has helped to spur the company’s recent growth spurt. That staff is “contributing to not only the projects at hand, but even selling the services and products while on site,” he says. 

“Our company’s reputation is positively growing much faster than we had considered,” says Pierce, a bit of a surprise since AVL is now celebrating its 20th anniversary, but perhaps it’s because of its more targeted approach to meeting customer needs. 

“We are aggressively focusing on a few specific verticals starting in 2019 and growing stronger in 2020,” says Pierce. Those target areas include control rooms in the corporate and education verticals and an increase in commercial work because of word-of-mouth recommendations from customers. 

“AVL has a reputation both locally and nationally where clients talk with other potential clients about our services and how we take care of each individual within an origination, regardless of their positions,” says Pierce. 

“If they have their hands on the equipment, we will help at no additional cost within the warranty period and even beyond. Service is the key, not just selling widgets,” he says.
