Guntermann & Drunck (G&D) Realigns Executive Management Team

Siegen, Germany-based Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D), the international manufacturer of KVM and AV solutions for a variety of industries, announced the realignment of its executive management team. Roland Ollek left the company on July 31, departing as CEO. According to the company, Ollek significantly contributed to the success of G&D by advancing the internationalization of the medium-sized family business. He also created the basis for further growth with modern corporate structures and the technology partnership with TRITEC Electronic GmbH in 2021.

G&D New Management Team

Thorsten Lipp, CEO of G&D

Thorsten Lipp, who previously held the position of managing director Europe for Leyard Europe, will take over the responsibilities as of August 1, 2023. His focus will be on further strengthening G&D’s position as a market leader and developing new business opportunities. With his experience and his expertise in the AV field, he will be responsible for the company’s sales and market side of operations.

Nils Strauch, CFO, G&D

Finance and controlling will remain in the management of Nils Strauch. Per the company, he has been with the manufacturer on the management board for six years.

Uwe Milde, CTO, G&D

As a technological expert, Uwe Milde complements the management team and will lead all product and development side of operations. With his extensive knowledge and close ties to the company for more than two decades, he will continue to drive the technology leader forward.

G&D Expanding Growth

With the new trio in management, the core competencies will be assigned, and a team will be formed to align the company for an optimal growth course, says G&D.

“I am looking forward to joining the management team and developing G&D further, marketing the company’s high-end solutions even more effectively and continue the internationalization,” says Lipp. “Roland Ollek leaves behind a solid foundation for future success that we can build on together with new ideas and perspectives.”

G&D’s technology portfolio includes classic digital KVM and KVM-over-IP solutions, as well as complementary AV products for control rooms and control centers. The company has been established in the market for more than 35 years. It has its headquarters in Germany, a subsidiary in the U.S. and several international sales offices.
