It doesn’t matter if the economy is surging or contracting, security is always a popular service within the residential and commercial electronics industries.

The new Model 1088 Modular Entry System from Holovision is designed to provide electronics dealers in both markets a versatile security interface solution that can go nearly anywhere and provide audio and video feedback.

The product can flush mount in a wall or it can be pole-mounted through the use of its gooseneck mount hardware. It is also capable of replacing existing interface products through its ability to fit within existing back boxes. Some of its standard features include a tamper-switch output that connects to a building’s alarm system and an auxiliary bell contact that connects to automation systems, cameras or DVRs.

Other features include an illuminated bell button and keypad. The keypad portion of the Model 1088 is supported by the choice of either a stand alone 12-button option (1088-12) or a 26-bit Wiegand output (1088-W). The intercom options are available in a choice of the Model 1088-X-VIK that uses Viking components, and half-duplex communication technologies for high-speaker and microphone volume or the Model 1088-X-VIO that incorporates a VoIP module for standard SIP or Crestron RavaSIP. The VIO option features an on-board IP switch for Panasonic IP cameras (one Cat-5 for audio and video).

This option delivers 2.1 megapixels and a 1920×1080 resolution at 30fps.

Aesthetically, the Model 1088 Modular Entry System is available in a choice of white, brush aluminum, black or candy-apple red finishes.
