Atlona will showcase its newest 4K/UHD matrix switchers, designed for commercial and education markets, at this year’s InfoComm show.
Ilya Khayn, president and CEO of Atlona, took the time to talk to CI about what the company has planned for integrators visiting its booth at InfoComm 2015, June 17-19 in Orlando.
If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2015 booth, what should it be?
The AT-UHD-CLSO-824 is Atlona’s new eight-input, two output, 4K/UHD @30Hz matrix switcher with HDMI and HDBaseT outputs. It is the latest addition in our CLSO series of multi-format matrix switchers designed for commercial and education use, and it incorporates three HDBaseT and four HDMI inputs, one VGA analog video input and two HDBaseT outputs, each with a mirrored HDMI output.

This matrix switcher is ideal for conference rooms, classrooms, and training environments. The CLSO-824 also has a lot of integrator-friendly advanced features, such as two microphone inputs with 48 V phantom power, Ethernet-enabled 328 ft. HDBaseT signal extension, 10 local RS-232 ports, balanced analog stereo output, and a web-based GUI for switcher configuration.
The CLSO-824 is part of our best-selling CLSO Series of 4K/UHD compatible switchers that includes two 6-input models, the UHD-CLSO-601 and the UHD-CLSO-612.
What if we have time to see one more thing?
Atlona’s HDVS products are the “go to” product for meeting rooms with single displays and up to three sources. Designed for use in huddle rooms, classrooms, and as input devices to the CLSO switchers, HDVS products put the “simple” in simple systems.
With user-friendly features such as auto-switching and automatic display control, prepping for your meeting is as simple as plugging in your PC and getting started. We are introducing four new HDVS components including the HDVS-150 and -200 series at InfoComm that both offer features like volume control, IP and CEC control for TVs, signal monitoring for DisplayPort sources, and PoE.
What’s one last impression you’d like us to take away from your InfoComm booth?
Atlona has been working hard to design and create 4K/UHD connectivity solutions this year. This will be our second major product launch of the year, with 13 products introduced in February at ISE, making 2015 our biggest year to date. In all, we will introduce more than 30 new products this year, and we want InfoComm attendees to recognize Atlona as a leading company in Classroom and Small Office (CLSO) environments.
Atlona offers premium quality, exceptional support, a 10-year warranty, and continued technology and product education, and we want our customers and partners to know we are committed to their success.
