G&D North America Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D) headquartered in Siegen, Germany, has appointed Steven Cruz as director of business development, Mobility. In his new role, Cruz will operate from the Greater Houston region, Texas.

G&D North America is prominent vendor of professional KVM solutions for mission-critical security control rooms.

“We are delighted to welcome Steven to our team,” says managing director, Jon Litt. “His experience and knowledge in mobility will help us to expand our business in this region and to strengthen our position as a leading supplier of KVM solutions.”

In his role, Cruz will work closely with customers and partners in the vertical market for mobility, including the sectors’ aviation, traffic management, maritime transport, public transit and rail freight transport in North America. Here, he will work on understanding the needs of customers and develop innovative solutions that meet their requirements. He will also work closely with the Sales team of G&D North America in order to offer customers the best possible assistance and advice.

According to G&D, Cruz’s background covers the development of strategic partnerships and customer management for transport companies in some of the largest major cities in the U.S.
