Matrox Video announced it will showcase its latest IP video technology innovations at ISE 2025. Per a statement, Matrox Video will demonstrate a range of devices designed to transform commercial AV environments, control rooms and live event productions. This includes IP KVM extenders, IP video gateways, graphics and capture cards, videowall appliances and encoders.

Per a statement, these innovations highlight Matrox Video’s track record of advancing interoperability across product lines, enabling integrators to build flexible, scalable and future-ready solutions.

Located at booth 5E350, Matrox Video will display Matrox Mura DVW, designed to redefine the possibilities for scalable, secure and high-performance videowall installations. This IP-based 4K distributed video wall appliance creates synchronized video surfaces of any size and rectangular arrangement, says the company.. Each device supports high-density decoding — up to one 8K60, four 4K60, or 16 1080p60 streams in H.265 or H.264.

The company will also showcase technologies in the IP video gateway market: Matrox Vion and Matrox ConvertIP DSH. Vion is a 4K-capable IP video gateway for media processing and conversion, offering multi-channel encoding, decoding and transcoding across formats like H.264, HEVC, and NDI, while supporting protocols such as IPMX, ST 2110-22 and SRT.

According to the company, Matrox ConvertIP DSH features a recent update enabling IP-to-IP bridging for converting between uncompressed and compressed formats such as ST 2110-20, ST 2110-22 and IPMX. This compact transmitter/receiver addresses the challenges of cross-format interoperability. Additionally, Matrox DSX LE5 and LE6 ST 2110 NICs ensure universal compatibility and interoperability at scale with features like wide asynchronous receivers and packet-paced narrow senders and IPMX support. This makes them a reliable choice for streamlined IP workflows, says Matrox Video.

Additionally, another device from the ConvertIP series, the Matrox ConvertIP SDM is an Intel smart display module that supports ST 2110 and IPMX inputs. This device delivers 4K, zero-latency video streams over IP, ensuring compatibility across diverse systems. Leveraging open standards, ConvertIP SDM bridges gaps between ST 2110 signals between HDMI, HDBaseT, and SDI, supporting copper and fiber networks for maximum adaptability.

Matrox will also showcase Matrox Avio 2, the standards-based IPMX/ST 2110 IP KVM extender, at ISE 2025. This solution offers scalable, flexible and secure connectivity for mission-critical applications that require remote access to computing equipment. Avio 2 also provides video quality and performance, with support for up to 4K60 4:4:4 resolution, delivering real-time remote performance without compromise, says the company.

Remote Monitoring and Live Streaming Capabilities

Additionally, Matrox Video will present its system-based videowall controller powered by Matrox LUMA Pro Series graphics cards and the new Matrox Mura C4K Quad HDMI 2.0 capture cards. The company will also showcase the Matrox Extio 3 IP KVM extenders and the Matrox KMLync keyboard and mouse switch, enabling remote monitoring and control of systems across a multi-monitor workspace with up to four 4K or 16 full HD displays.

Moreover, the Matrox Maevex 6100 Series and Matrox Maevex 7100 Series of encoders and decoders for H.264/H.265 streaming and recording offer high-quality, high-density, and ultra-low latency live streaming and recording to capture and share all AV sources and data points for a variety of collaborative applications.

“At Matrox Video, we understand the evolving challenges organizations face in today’s AV environments,” says Alberto Cieri, SVP of global sales and marketing. “ISE 2025 is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how our transformative devices are driving innovation in live events and setting a new standard for flexibility, efficiency, and collaboration. We look forward to meeting customers, partners, and colleagues from across the industry to explore our approach to AV-over-IP technology and unlocking its major benefits….”
