Haivision will exhibit at the Renaissance Hotel (booth Ren Deluxe F), just outside the South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center where, according to a company press release.
Meanwhile, it will demonstrate its latest H.264, H.265/HEVC and HD/4K encoding, decoding and transcoding network solutions, featuring:
- Contribution and distribution streaming workflows with Makito X encoders/decoders and the Haivision Media Gateway for multi-camera synchronized remote production, live interviews, international syndication and distribution of live linear content to OTT with ad insertion.
- Delivery workflows with the KB internet streaming compact and server-based encoding/transcoding appliances for 4K live event streaming, Haivision Video Cloud for cloud video delivery to broad internet audiences and Haivision Connect DVR for time-delayed video delivery.
- Enterprise communications streaming workflows with the Haivision SRT-enabled Media Platform for corporate webcasting for multi-site live all-hands and VOD, IPTV with set-top box device control and performance recording for training and research.
- Defense contribution and distribution workflows for the most demanding Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications powered by Haivision’s defense certified streaming solutions, including the Makito X HEVC Rugged encoder, Makito XCR encoder and the Kraken CR encoder/transcoder.
Additionally at NAB 2018, Haivision will host a public event featuring speakers from Microsoft, NFL and other industry leaders to discuss the SRT open source protocol and its rapid adoption by broadcasters, video solutions vendors and live event streamers.
