Nanolumens, manufacturer and designer of LED displays and solutions, has announced two key appointments to its leadership team as part of its continued growth strategy. Per the company, Ben Watkins earned the promotion of channel account manager while Kevin Jensen has joined as regional sales manager for the Pacific Northwest and Rockies.
According to Nanolumens, Jensen is an accomplished industry veteran with more than 25 years of knowledge. He thus brings a wealth of expertise in bridging the gap between technology design and space design. He joins Nanolumens from Barco, where he served as business development manager and consultant liaison since 2021.
Per a statement, Jensen’s career spans significant roles at Panopto, IBM, Qumu, Vbrick Systems, SBC (now AT&T) and Cisco Systems. “I’m thrilled to join Nanolumens and bring my passion for connecting people and technology to a company that leads the industry in innovation,” says Jensen. “Nanolumens’ commitment to delivering tailored LED displays and fostering strong customer relationships aligns perfectly with my approach to helping clients achieve their vision. I look forward to contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.”
Kurt DeYoung, chief revenue officer for Nanolumens, adds, “We are thrilled to strengthen our leadership team with professionals who embody our mission of connecting people with high-quality display solutions. Kevin’s technical acumen and proven ability to connect solutions with customer needs make him a tremendous asset to our team. Additionally, Ben has been instrumental in driving revenue and fostering strong customer relationships. His expertise and leadership will further enhance our channel engagement and partner success.”
Since joining Nanolumens in early 2023, Watkins has been pivotal in cultivating relationships with key customers, uncovering customer needs and matching them with tailored solutions, says the company. Here, Watkins consistently maintained and grown high-value national accounts, significantly contributing to Nanolumens’ success. According to Nanolumens, with nearly 20 years of experience at companies like TD SYNNEX, LG and Verizon, Watkins will help elevate the company’s channel strategy and strengthen its partner ecosystem.
“I’m excited to officially step into my new role managing channel sales at Nanolumens,” says Watkins. “This new role reflects a commitment by Nanolumens to strengthen our partnerships and channel ecosystem. I’m looking forward to growing our LED business alongside our incredible channel partners and building strong, collaborative relationships. For those I haven’t had the chance to meet yet, I can’t wait to connect and explore how we can drive success together.”
According to the company, these appointments emphasize Nanolumens’ investment in delivering the highest-quality LED solutions with a personalized, tailored approach. Nanolumens highlights its dedication to fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring project success and advancing product innovation as key elements of its growth strategy. Both Jensen and Watkins will play vital roles in supporting its customers across the country, says Nanolumens.
