NEC Display, ThinkHub Join Forces, Collaborate on Collaboration Solution

Published: 2016-09-08

You definitely know NEC Display as a leading provider of commercial LCD displays.

If you’ve been paying attention you might also know T1V as the innovative interactive software company that dares you to compare its ThinkHub collaboration solution to Microsoft Surface Hub.

Now you can get to know the two brands collectively as they leverage each other’s strengths and jointly launch a set of bundled collaboration solutions.

The bundles include an NEC touch-interactive 55-inch, 70- inch or 80-inch display combined with the choice of T1V ThinkHub Base software, which provides two wireless device connections over a LAN network, or ThinkHub Standard software, which provides unlimited wireless device connections over any network in the world, according to a press release issued by the two companies.

The bundles can be customized by adding wall mounts, mobile carts, cameras, support packages and upgrade options.

“Our partnership with T1V delivers a set of tools that enhance business results,” said Richard Ventura, VP of business development and solutions, NEC Display.

“Professionals at educational institutions and in corporations gain important capabilities to make their collaboration, both in person and remotely, much more productive and fulfilling.”

More from the press release:

Built with ease of use and customers in mind, T1V’s ThinkHub is a dynamically configurable workspace that enables users to protect their meetings with passwords, take notes, use multi-touch web browsers, convene video conferences, and connect a multitude of devices wirelessly to the NEC displays.

ThinkHub supports laptops, tablets and smart phones across all major platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android – a differentiator in the market – through its AirConnectTM app. In addition, its Auto-Present Mode lets users leverage their own devices as presentation tools on the NEC digital screens.

“From an early stage, ThinkHub was designed to complement the many different devices and applications that people use to collaborate,” said Marco Ventura, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at T1V. “Through our partnership with NEC, ThinkHub’s powerful collaboration capabilities will be accessible to a much broader audience, while helping teams to consolidate the devices, applications, people, ideas, and content that are critical to achieving great work.”
