There will be at least 30 product introductions at Infocomm 2017 – and that’s just in Gefen’s booth. Core Brands’ Gefen says it will unveil over 30 UHD, AV-over-IP, and extension solutions at InfoComm 2017 at its booth #4955.

“Gefen is pushing the boundaries of how commercial integrators utilize Ultra HD and AV-over-IP with over thirty new product introductions, including extenders, switchers, and more,” says Core Brands’ Gefen product manager Jason Fitzgerald in a press release.
“Gefen has always maintained a strong heritage in creating dependable products that incorporate the most innovative connectivity technologies available. We are proud to continue this tradition while introducing more products at a single time than ever before in the brand’s history.”
According to the press release, new product introductions will include:
- Three new HDBaseT extenders that push the boundaries of UHD with full 4K extension over HDBaseT. Each new extender is capable of handling 4K Ultra HD with HDR, bridging a much-needed gap in the AV marketplace for a solution to extend the full 600 MHz bandwidth of HDMI 2.0.
- Five new multi-format switchers and processors that bring 4K Ultra HD presenting and processing to professionals in corporate, education, government, and digital signage markets.
- A new generation of Video over IP with an all-new line of Ultra HD capable Video/Audio/KVM over IP products, including new DisplayPort and Audio-over-IP versions that expand the capabilities of the Gefen AV over IT revolution.
- New multi-format input switchable extenders, including Gefen’s first wall plate form-factor, new wireless and USB extenders, and other new 600 MHz Ultra HD infrastructure products that solidify Gefen as the preferred supplier for any installation in the Pro AV arena.
