Snap One, manufacturer and distributor of smart living and business technologies that is now part of ADI Global Distribution, says it will strengthen its ecosystem of integrated solutions with the introduction of several new products and integrator support initiatives at CEDIA Expo 2024, co-located with Commercial Integrator Expo 2024. Per the company, it will also include a single source for fast, efficient one-stop-shopping, commissioning and shipping.
“Snap One and ADI complement each other in many ways — from the markets we serve, to our variety of industry-leading brands, to our physical and digital experiences,” says Rob Aarnes, president of the combined ADI and Snap One business. “Together, we will deliver even greater value to our customer partners with access to more products, more locations, more buying convenience, more local expertise and support, and an increased investment in our product roadmap.”
“We’re excited about the products being showcased at the Snap One and ADI booths, where attendees will really experience first-hand how we are Even Better Together,” adds G Paul Hess, chief product officer of the combined ADI and Snap One business. “We’re focused on the needs of our integrator partners and committed to delivering smarter, more connected solutions to help them drive new growth opportunities while offering improved customer experiences.”
Technologies on display in the Snap One booth include:
Control4
Snap One will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Control4 open-source platform with the introduction of new features, user interfaces, and deployment tools, including the recently introduced Control4 Connect and Control4 Assist. Now required on all new Control4 systems installed in the U.S., the Control4 Connect subscription as-a-service offers system monitoring and remote support to improve end-user experiences while empowering integrator partners to provide enhanced customer service, earn new recurring revenue and encourage positive long-term client relationships.
In addition, Snap One integrator partners can now offer Apple Music with all the benefits of the Control4 platform. These include tonal quality, ultra-fine EQ controls and presets, and intuitive, single-page media controls for easy sharing and distribution.
OvrC
Snap One will demo the latest enhancements to the OvrC platform that deliver a faster, more intuitive use. This includes consolidated navigation options for easier, more efficient access and an updated Customer Support page. Show attendees can see how streamlined workflows, suite of cloud-based tools, automated device-based notifications and self-healing capabilities available through OvrC not only save time by minimizing service calls, but also provide the opportunity to create revenue-generating service plans.
The variety of benefits are even more evident through demonstrations of OvrC’s key integrations with the latest Luma Surveillance solutions, MoIP® AV distribution systems, WattBox® Series 20-amp power distribution units, and Araknis® Wi-Fi 7 networking components, and Access Networks Wi-Fi 6 Unleashed access points.
WattBox
According to Snap One, the new WattBox solutions include 20-amp IP enabled PDUs and a new line of Double Conversion UPSs. The WattBox 820 Series offers 2-, 8-. and 12-outlet models and feature OvrC remote monitoring and resolution; self-healing auto reboot; and control, scheduling, and metering of individual outlets. These capabilities facilitate a smooth transition for systems integrators handling commercial and dedicated theater projects, which often have high power requirements.
Additionally, the Double Conversion WattBox UPS keeps integrator partners from losing hours of work or incurring costly equipment damage during a power outage. In case of a prolonged outage, a WattBox UPS provides a stress-free window of time to connect to a standby power source all with absolutely zero downtime thanks to the constant conversion of AC to DC to AC power.
Per a statement, WattBox products are now available at ADI branches, as well as Snap One partner stores and online. With this, it thus provides more buying convenience to integrator partners.
SunBrite TVs
SunBrite, the premium TVs designed for outdoors, will also celebrate its 20-year anniversary. Attendees can demo the all-new SunBrite Solis Full Sun Smart TV featuring 1,500 Nits of brightness from a direct LED backlight, 4k60 resolution with 4k upscaling and HDR10, as well as voice control functions and built in speakers.
New Episode and Triad Audio Solutions
Show attendees can also experience the latest in audio solutions with the Episode Surroundscape Series and Triad Subwoofers and Amplifiers. The Episode Surroundscape Series allows integrator partners to build dynamic landscape installs through its multi-purpose SKU set, quick connect mounting system, weather-resistant features and rock-solid performance.
Per the company, Surroundscape is a rebirth of the Episode Landscape series, engineered with new features to make integrators’ work more efficient and reliable. Additionally, the new generation of powerhouse Triad subwoofers and accompanying amplifiers on display feature cinematic sound, an elevated design profile and more customization options than ever before, says Snap One.
The company states that visitors to the ADI booth can also participate in demos with XTEN-AV, the AI-powered professional AV design and proposal platform, and get an inside look at ADI’s exclusive brands offering including Avarro displays.
