Last year, we told you all about the deep musical roots of the only known band made up entirely of folks in the AV industry, the Drunk Unkles.
This year, as the Unkles get ready to kick off their second decade of decadence with a concert June 8 at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas to benefit NSCA‘s new Ignite initiative and other NSCA Education Foundation programs, we’re shining the spotlight on a few of the others in the industry who tried their luck as musicians on the road to AV prowess.
We know the Drunk Unkles know their way around a stage and certainly don’t need any help in getting heads bobbing and flashlight apps shining during InfoComm 2016, but we could turn the Obsessed with Vinyl show into quite the industry jam if a few of these amateur musicians joined them on stage.
