NEC is partnering with computer vision and artificial intelligence firm Realeyes to develop and distribute emotion analysis solutions aimed at serving the new coronavirus-induced remote workforce.
In a joint announcement, the companies said 5G and the COVID-19 pandemic have elevated virtual meetings, videoconferencing and collaboration. The emotion analysis solution is intended to help organizations understand how users are interacting with those services.
The solution combines Realeyes’ emotion detection, analysis capabilities, predictive analytics, and live measurement of emotion response within streaming and mobile applications with NEC’s biometric authentication and video analytics technologies.
The result is a digital transformation that will enhance safe and robust user experiences across media, entertainment, education, healthcare, and communication verticals, the companies said.
