A technology company partnered with CI‘s 2021 Integrator of the Year, Logic Integration, to transform an executive experience center in San Francisco into a dynamic, high-performance space. The project involved a significant upgrade to the audiovisual infrastructure, the integration of a 25×7 Planar DirectLight Pro 1.2mm LED videowall, and expanded control capabilities to ensure a seamless, impactful visitor experience.
The Challenge: Installing a 50-Foot UHD Videowall in Downtown San Francisco
Delivering a 50-foot wide, ultra-high-definition videowall in a downtown San Francisco environment required complex planning around structural engineering, secure delivery logistics and precision installation. Upgrading the AV system within an operational center also demanded careful coordination to avoid disruption. Integrating new components into the existing system required custom modifications to programming templates to ensure full functionality.
Logic Integration Upgrades AV System
Logic Integration replaced floor box HDMI and USB transmitters with wall plate models to improve accessibility and durability. A third videowall controller was added to enhance operational flexibility. New audio and video infrastructure was installed, including beamforming microphones, in-ceiling speakers, professional-grade video extenders, and a fully networked audio distribution system. The Planar DirectLight Pro videowall was installed with a custom-engineered frame and professional services support to ensure optimal performance and user training.
