This move follows the launch of its U.S. operations in 2021, led by Partner Brandon Creel, and reflects increasing demand for the company’s services across the region.
The appointment of Robert Smulling as Principal marks a significant step in Hewshott’s U.S. expansion. Based on the West Coast, Smulling brings nearly 40 years of experience as a theater consultant, architectural lighting designer and project manager. His expertise spans the design and technical integration of theaters, auditoriums, studios and public-assembly venues. With advanced degrees and a deep understanding of technical theater and lighting design, Smulling is well-equipped to collaborate with architects, engineers and building owners on complex projects.
