In an interview with Commercial Integrator on the topic of emergency communications, Jehan Karim, global director of business development at Dejero, introduces the company’s new TITAN Command product.
According to Karim, this launch marks the first release in a new family of products designed to enhance connectivity for critical infrastructure and public-safety applications. Built on eight years of experience in the emergency-response sector, TITAN Command addresses key communication challenges faced by first responders.
According to Karim, the system is designed to provide maximum uptime and increased network capacity during emergencies. It incorporates multiple layers of redundancy to create a failure-proof solution. “We’ve actually taken our experience and the learnings we’ve had from eight years of working with our customers, tried to take all of that and and put it inside this this latest product that we’re putting out,” he says.
Core Features of TITAN Command
Karim reveals that the TITAN Command leverages Dejero’s Smart Blending Technology, which combines various network types into a single, managed solution. This ensures reliable communication even when individual networks fail or become congested.
The key features include:
- Multi-modal connectivity: The system seamlessly integrates cellular, satellite and other IP-based networks.
- Enhanced reliability: It features three 5G cellular modems with integrated antennas in a rugged, IP67-rated enclosure.
- Congestion management: The core software analyzes traffic and network performance in real time to reroute data and avoid disruptions caused by congestion or jamming.
Karim explains the significance of this blended approach: “With TITAN Command, now we’re telling the customer, ‘Hey, you can have the best of all worlds, but have it managed through a single product.'” This capability allows customers to maintain critical communications during infrastructure failures, power outages and extreme network conditions.
