As national account manager at Ampetronic | Listen Technologies, Kaumans collaborates closely with national partners across the professional AV channel, including integrators and national resellers, to expand adoption of Ampetronic and Listen Technologies solutions and support the company’s growth in the Americas. He also works closely with regional sales managers, manufacturer representatives, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistent execution and strong partner engagement.

Kaumans joined Listen Technologies in 2006 and has excelled in sales roles within the organization, the company says. Most recently, he was market development manager where he identified growth opportunities for Ampetronic | Listen Technologies in adjacent markets and collaborated with product management to ensure solutions are aligned to customer needs.

“Each customer and project is unique, and I love helping venues and their guests overcome communication challenges,” Kaumans says. “Technology continues to evolve, while awareness of hearing and the impact of audio on experiences is increasing. Assistive listening systems benefit everyone, and applications extend beyond assistive listening to include audio description, delivering audio from silent screens, supporting language interpretation delivery, and more. It’s exciting to be part of an organization leading the way in audio accessibility.”

Kaumans has been instrumental in bringing assistive listening solutions to venues throughout North America, from houses of worship and stadiums to performing arts centers and classrooms. Kaumans was named to Commercial Integrator’s annual 40 Influencers Under 40 list, class of 2024.

He is very knowledgeable about Listen Technologies’ and Ampetronic’s combined suite of products, including Auri, the world’s first Auracast™ broadcast audio-based solution for assistive listening.

“Listen Technologies’ and Ampetronic’s commitment to innovation in accessibility and audio aligns with my passion for quality audio experiences,” Luckey says. “It’s great to be part of the Ampetronic | Listen Technologies team and work directly with the AV consultant community. I look forward to partnering with consultants and supporting their efforts to deliver spaces that work for everyone.”

Future Outlook for Assistive Listening

The Business Research Company forecasts the assistive listening devices market will “grow to $4.68 billion in 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 7.5%.” Listen Technologies and Ampetronic continue to see strong sales of their solutions as venues look to provide more inclusive and engaging audio experiences for their guests. As awareness of assistive listening technologies and devices increases, end users are seeking greater accessibility to audio in the venues they visit.

Mikey Shaffer, vice president of North American sales, adds, “Ampetronic | Listen Technologies design assistive listening and communication solutions for venues and end users that make audio accessible for everyone. Kasey and Robert play crucial roles in supporting our channel partners and the AV consultant community as they propose solutions and create spaces that support great listening experiences.”
