Pete Emminger is a media and technology executive with more than two decades of experience leading technology strategy, product development and transformation across media, entertainment, live production and sports.

He most recently served as global chief technology officer at NEP Group, where he led the evolution of the company’s service and product offerings, including the development of new software products. That work included aligning technology investments with business priorities, increasing development velocity and focusing resources on solutions with the greatest potential to support customers and long-term growth.

Emminger has also advised established technology providers, early-stage companies and financial institutions on product strategy, adjacent market opportunities, service models and commercial transformation.

What Is Emminger’s Track Record?

Emminger’s track record spans some of the highest-profile projects in media, gaming and live sports. At NEP Group, he led the development of new software products and aligned technology investments with business priorities. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Activision Blizzard, where he helped launch the Call of Duty League, establish a major esports production studio and build a profitable new business unit.

He also contributed to the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s transition to IP-based broadcast technology. There he led teams that delivered the technology solutions, including the development of new software products that improved resilience, redundancy and efficiency across global broadcast delivery.
