The Audio Engineering Society’s 150th International Convention approaching and a team of audio professionals assembled by convention co-chairs Ruud Kaltofen and Bert Kraaijpoel will deliver the AES Show Spring 2021 Audio Engineering Convention technical program to a global audience.
Under the theme “Global Resonance,” the AES Show Spring 2021 is set to take place online May 25 – 28, and streamcast in Central European time.
The Convention will offer numerous ways to listen, learn and connect with peers and pros from around the world in a variety of interactive and on-demand formats that build on AES’s growing online event prowess.

The AES Show 150th Convention Committee, composed of some of the top names in audio engineering and related fields, are assembling a program that will cover a broad range of timely and relevant topics and events to educate and inform the worldwide community of audio engineers, students, educators and enthusiasts.
Joining Kaltofen and Kraaijpoel on the committee are Papers co-Chairs Jamie Angus and Remy Wenmaekers; workshops & Tutorials chairman Rafael Kassier; Diversity and Inclusion chairperson Leslie Gaston-Bird; education chairman Gabe Herman; student recording competition chairman Miles Fulwider; student delegate assembly chairperson Kamila Pietrusinska; tech tours co-chairpeople Antal van Nie and Sander van der Heide; and AES events coordination committee vice chairman of conventions Cesar Lamschtein.

The 2021 Audio Engineering Society (AES) fall convention will co-locate with NAB Show Oct. 11–13, 2021 in Las Vegas, both groups announced.
The co-location “brings together the premiere convention for pro audio professionals with the world’s largest convention encompassing media, entertainment and technology,” according to the joint announcement.
The AES Show will take place at the Westgate Hotel, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center, where NAB Show will be held Oct. 9–13.
