Jetbuilt Hires Former InfoComm President as Part of Global Initiative

AV sales and project software provider Jetbuilt has announced a new global initiative to enhance their service to the international integration community and has hired former InfoComm President Tom Peters.

According to the company, the international AV community accounts for a quarter of its client base, which is why the company has grown the platform to allow for global projects with equipment being purchased in multiple currencies and being sold in others.

However, the company wanted to do a better job of making the platform native to those areas and working with the global AV community, which is why it hired Peters.

“Having attended InfoComm events around the world as a Board representative, I gained a larger appreciation of the global nature of the AV business,” Peters said in a statement. “There is definitely a vacuum in our niche that we are determined to fill.”

The company also announced that it brought on London-based global consultant Gordon Dutch, who has experience expanding Peerless-AV into a global brand.

According to JetBuilt, next is offering proposal presentation in various languages and offering different languages within the application itself. This will allow teams from multiple countries to collaborate on the same project while working in their own language.

The company also plans to open business hubs in the UK and Germany to provide dedicated local support in Europe.

Jetbuilt founder and CEO Paul Dexter said in a statement that he has visited integrators around the world to understand how they do business in their area.

“Getting to know integrators around the globe has been enlightening in many ways,” Dexter said. “Among them was the realization that we need to do a far better job of making the application native to those areas.”
