At the most recent InfoComm, many integration firms learned about a unique product by Israel-based Media Solutions: hand-held MS-TestPro HDBaseT Tester for testing connections in the field. Now Trinity Video Communications, an AV Provider of Excellence (APEx) integration firm in Louisville, Ky., is reporting that MS-TestPro is actually saving it an estimated 20-30 percent in time and money.
According to Trinity, the savings is a direct result of implementing MS-TestPro since June 2017.
The reasons? A significant drop in installation recalls, attributed by Trinity to the reliability and HDBaseT links installation validation capabilities of the MS-TestPro. Meanwhile, the integration firm is also reporting an appreciable rise in customer satisfaction.
According to a Media Solutions press release, MS-TestPro is the only affordable hand-held HDBaseT tester that provides AV installers and integrators with all the information they need while in the field.
It immediately measures line sensitivity and enables installers to understand the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), reducing installation time significantly and ensuring that their HDBaseT customers receive the highest link quality for all content transmissions, including 4K, with every installation in every HDBaseT port.
“Trinity Video Communications strives to be an innovative technology company providing system solutions and expertise using the most advanced IT, A/V, and Unified Communications technology available,” says Frank Wilt, director of engineering, Trinity Communications.
MS-TestPro immediately measures line sensitivity and enables installers to understand the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), reducing installation time significantly and ensuring that their HDBaseT customers receive the highest link quality.
“For the same reason, the MS-TestPro is a No.1 best seller and we intend to provide each and every member of our installation teams with one.
“It also has done away with the need for a much more expensive multi-featured HDBaseT Tester and provided us, and our customers, with highly reliable information and peace of mind as to the quality and integrity of their HDBaseT links.
“Using the MS-TestPro our installers can generate cable certification reports that document the link status and serve as quality validation for the installed HDBaseT link wherever and whenever needed, making it possible to troubleshoot preexisting HDBaseT link issues.”
“We have even managed to resolve and repair extremely complex, and what seemed to be repeatedly undefined, link issues that our customers had in the past. We inspire our people at Trinity Video Communications to provide system solutions and advanced IT, A/V expertise with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. Working with the MS-TestPro in every installation enables us to meet that goal.”
Media Solutions made a splash at InfoComm 2017 and Eliran Toren, Media Solution’s Co-founder and CEO, is seeing the impact on integrators business.
“We strive to put the very best equipment and solutions in the hands of all our customers, installers and integrators, collaborating with them and assisting them to get the most out of our unique HDBaseT devices,” says Toren.
The MS-TestPro is currently available in a number of models: The Touch Screen Model with a built-in 3.5-inch touch screen (MS102TD) and the Wi-Fi Client Model, with 3.5-inch screen and a built-in HDMI pattern generator (MS103TDs).
