Platinum Tools knows that installers in the field often have to deal with the smaller insulation diameters of Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables, so during InfoComm 2019 the company officially launches its Platinum Tools ezEX38 RJ45 pass-through style connectors to address these challenges.
The provider of integrator-friendly solutions, including hand termination and testing of wire and cable, says the new ezEX38 RJ45 connector which was announced to be launched ISC West 2019 and NAB 2019 will officially launch at InfoComm 2019.
“Now available, the ezEX38 RJ45 connector is designed for smaller insulation diameters typically found in Cat5e and smaller Cat6 cabling,” says John Phillips, Platinum Tools, LLC product manager.
“The ezEX 38 features the same unique integrated patented Hi-Lo stagger load bar, allowing the conductors to pass through the front end of the connector making it easy to verify the wiring sequence before terminating.
“This connector is typically used with Cat 5e and smaller Cat 6 cabling. The compatible crimping tool is our EXO Crimp Frame and EXO-EX Die (100061C).”
