AVI-SPL aims to take its global business processes to the next level with its Global Accounts Management Program, announced during Integrated Systems Europe 2017.
The firm, which earns nearly $600 million in annual revenue, recently opened an office in Frankfurt, Germany, its second location in Europe, to support global enterprise customers.
At that time, CEO John Zettel pointed out that AVI-SPL had done business in 101 countries over the past year and a half.
The Global Accounts Management Program, according to an AVI-SPL press release, provides a global account manager to be a single point of contact for the customer who will lead a team to meet agreed upon objectives.
The firm expects the program to “drive velocity in decision-making and orchestrate a high level of consistency, reliability, and service support throughout all stages and locations of the customer’s unified communications and collaboration technology lifecycle,” according to the press release.

From AVI-SPL’s Global Accounts Management Program Press Release:
Dedicated to continuous customer successes, AVI-SPL’s Global Accounts Management Program will deliver both strategic and tactical benefits, ensuring the latest technology and industry best practices are adopted. This includes developing global implementation plans to deliver clear return for stakeholders over the short and longer term to maintain the best possible business outcomes.
“We look for partners who are concerned about providing global solutions, not just local sales, and AVI-SPL does just that,” said Chris Duncan, director of communications resources at The Dow Chemical Company. “[It] allowed us to take a holistic approach to our global AV/Video needs while providing a long term, strategic approach to addressing our needs.”
AVI-SPL has been busy with expansion efforts.
In addition to the Germany expansion, it recently acquired California-based Anderson AV, strengthening its presence in Western states.
To address customers’ growing need to create video content as part of their overall video strategies, AVI-SPL acquired video production company VideoLink which deploys custom video studios to customers’ locations.
These moves come on the heels of AVI-SPL being acquired by H.I.G. Capitol, perhaps providing the firm with more investment and growth potential.
