Alameda, Calif.-based RGB Spectrum, prominent in mission-critical video for real-time decision support, announced the appointment of Bill Hildebrand, as director of sales for North America. According to the company, Hildebrand comes out of retirement to lead the RGB Spectrum sales team after nearly 14 years at Planar Systems. There, he helped grow the company seven-fold. Most recently he served as North American vice president of sales at Planar. Hildebrand also boasts more than 26 years of experience in the IT and AV industries. He previously held roles at Gateway for seven years as district manager, VP of sales at Quantum Technologies.
