AVIXA announced today that registration is now open for the long-awaited in-person InfoComm show, which will take place October 23-29, 2021, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Registration is officially open at www.infocommshow.org.

There isn’t anything quite like the in-person experience of learning about new technology, making new business connections, and meeting up with longtime industry peers,” said David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA in a press release. “Like countless other industries, pro AV has been affected in a multitude of ways by the pandemic – some negative, like the pause of live events, others positive, such as the dramatic adoption of video communications. At the show, we’ll explore the trends that emerged, and which will be long-lasting.”
InfoComm 2021 will spotlight the largest, fastest-growing, and most critical solutions and technologies in the world of AV. Throughout the show floor at exhibitor booths and in education sessions, attendees can explore conferencing and collaboration; content, production, and streaming; digital signage, learning, live events, audio, and much more.
One of the most prominent solutions talked about during the pandemic was conferencing and collaboration – which is forecast to generate $43.5 billion in 2021 globally and reach $49.9 in 2026, according to AVIXA’s latest market intelligence. InfoComm sessions will explore topics like designing flexible collaboration spaces, clear audio for conferencing, hybrid workspaces, and Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) systems.
Digital signage is another AV solution that has been top of mind during the pandemic. This solution has enabled businesses to maintain up-to-date messaging to their customers about health and safety procedures and traffic flow. To explore the digital signage world, the show will host the D=SIGN conference, in collaboration with the Digital Signage Federation (DSF), as two, half-day programs on Tues., Oct. 26., and Wed., Oct. 27. Sessions will explore trends in interactivity and touch screens in a post-pandemic world, overcoming connectivity barriers using 4G/5G connectivity, using AI and machine learning to trigger content changes, and more.
InfoComm 2021 will also dive into content, production, and streaming – a solution forecast to generate $30 billion globally in 2021 and reach $38.5 in 2026. Content, production, and streaming media is the least impacted AV solution by COVID-19. This is due to organizations building out their digital content – such as producing videos to keep customers engaged and streaming virtual events. InfoComm sessions will examine topics such as adding remote guests to live streams and automatic speech recognition and caption delivery.
InfoComm will also explore AV solutions for learning – K-12, higher education, and corporate learning environments for remote learning or on campus. It’s no secret that the way people learn has changed rapidly in the last year and a half, and the AV industry has played a huge role in allowing educators and learners to adapt. InfoComm sessions will cover developing flexible institutional AV standards, automatic camera tracking for classrooms, and case studies such as New Jersey Institute of Technology turning 100 classrooms into hybrid learning environments.
Live events were also significantly impacted by the pandemic – case in point, InfoComm. In-person events were forced to adapt to virtual experiences. Fortunately, in-person events are starting to rebound, and a lot has been learned from producing virtual events that will enhance future events. At InfoComm, education sessions will explore topics like creating events with virtual production and extended reality, content creation with generative media and gaming engines, and immersive audio for multi-sensory experiences.
There will be a multitude of ways to learn about the latest products and trends in audio at InfoComm – the show floor, audio demo rooms, and in sessions. From beamforming microphone solutions to licensed wireless microphone operations and new white space device rules, sessions will uncover the must-knows for delivering great audio experiences.
InfoComm attendees can stop by the Technology Innovation Stage for bite-sized insights into the latest technology advancements and applications on Wednesday through Friday on the trade show floor at booth 1961. These free sessions will feature product announcements and demonstrations, New Technology Lightning Rounds highlighting the most exciting new products at InfoComm 2021, a state of the industry presentation from AVIXA’s market intelligence team, and more.
InfoComm 2021 will have many opportunities for networking at events like the Tech Managers Forum, the Independent Technical Services, Systems Integrators, and Consultants Councils Reception, Young AV Reception, Women’s Council Breakfast, Live Events Forum and Reception, and the Diversity Council Networking event.
